More Drawings - Chris

I'm wanting to probably include and illustration of our logo as the last piece of the narrative to act almost like a full stop; a definition of DECE to sum up. I wanted to link to the wool, as it's a big part of the brand, but didn't want to be too detailed as the logo is very geometric, and I didn't want to take away from that. I've carried on the paint drip / freedom / breaking free theme for the same reasons as before and I think it will help tie the set together visually as well as fulfil the dirty/clean aesthetic that the client is interested in.

Shots used for reference.

I've decided, instead of the original idea to illustrate one hat in detail, to present a range of hats as one part of the story. I think and introduction saying we provide many hats for many people if a positive way of adding another link to the idea of community. I've also approached this in a little less literal manner, as I want to fill the hats with dripping paint where faces would normally be. This personifies the freedom / paint drip idea and will hopefully make for an interesting composition, too.

I wanted to use the 'tools of the trade' i.e. snowboards, skateboards and surfboards to make a nice and simple arrangement to refer to the activities themselves.
