As part of my research into brochure designs, i stumbled across the following designs which really caught my eye.
I really like the 'less perfect' illustrative feel to this design. I will be using some of Chris' illustrations in the brochure, and these designs show an effective way to pair digital type with hand drawn illustrations
The double page spreads in this brochure show that pairing the right illustrations with the right photographs can make a very interesting design. I also like the way that the illustrations have been put onto a creases paper background, giving a cool and imperfect look - this is clearly the look that the brand is going for and i need to ensure that my brochure matches the way that we are portraying Dece.
I absolutely love the design of this brochure. We are using brown paper and card throughout our branding and brown card is being used here very well. The cover also uses cutouts which is something i am thinking of incorporating in the design of my brochure. This design looks very organic not only because of the brown card, but because of the hand drawn titles and collaged images. A unique look.
I picked out this design due to it's use of silhouettes. The black and white theme pairs well with the use of silhouettes. As our Dece campaign centres around the silhouette, this is something that i will take forward and use in the brochure. I am thinking of making these silhouettes cutouts, but this is something that i need to consider further.
