Target Market 

In the presentation I researched the Target Market. The client states in brief that the target market is 16-35, but as i researched more into the lifestyle of the target market and who and why they would buy the product i believed that the target audience would be aged 15-25 as I felt this the 16-35 estimate was to high, and gave a large range to cater for, as i felt the people aged 15-25 would war the clothes everyday and the older people who might be interested would wear because they liked the brand or for more practical use.

Target Market Profile:
  • 15-25 Years of age
  • Mainly male (due to more active in sports)
  • Into extreme sports; snowboarding, wind surfing,skiing, bmxing, rock climbing, surfing, mountain biking, skateboarding, sky diving etc.
  • Normally shop in competitor shops ans shops such as Vans/ Fatface/ O'neill
  • Students, or young professionals 
  • Some income to purchase products
  • Image conscious - Like to express themselves in clothing (printed Tees) 
  • Street wise people
  • Into alternative music
  • Ambitious
  • Thrill seekers
SHU SNOW is a sport society at Sheffield Hallam and is a possible distorbutior for deces products, as i thought about why shu snow could work for a selling dece products i thought i could look at other sport society's in which the university's has on offer that could potentially be the target market for the dece products.
