Research & Target Market- Jade Chadwick

I was looking through DECE's website and realised there was no current posters/advertising for us to view. Being an advertiser it is important to know what you are working from and what is currently being done for the company. I took it upon myself to email one of the DECE team members and ask them if they would be kind enough to send me over some poster designs.

    Presentation Input:
    For my part of the presentation I chose to look into Target Market. In the client brief it states that the target market is 16-35, I felt this was high for the older people and that people between the ages of 15-25 would be more likely to wear DECE clothes as everyday wear.

    Target Market Profile:
    • 15-25 Years of age , Mainly male.
    • Into extreme sports; snowboarding, skiing, bmxing, rock climbing, surfing, mountain biking, skateboarding, sky diving etc.
    • Normally shop in Vans/ 2seasons/ Fatface/ O'neill
    • Students
    • Image conscious - Like to express themselves in clothing (printed Tees) 
    • Not much money  to really spend but have an income (Student loan/Part time job)
    • Street wise people
    • Into alternative music
    • Ambitious
    • Thrill seekers
